Originally from Mumbai, India, Aki Kumar is a new face in the West Coast Blues scene and has gained wide appeal as a blues performer and for his bollywood fused album "Aki Goes Bollywood". With a vast network of musicians contributing to the album, he was able to uniquely marry classic 50s/60s bollywood and American blues. "Kisi Ki Muskurahaton Pe" is an eerie lo-fi rhythm n blues rocker led by Aki's chilling sound, Kid Anderson's slanky guitars, and topped with a slow rolling jump blues piano. "Kisi Ki..." is a vivid taste of a blooming San Jose music scene driven by it's diversity and live music enthusiasts.
